Ripe Delight Dried Wild Blackberry Leaf Tea in a Pouch

When harvested and dried, blackberry leaves make a gentle and soothing herbal tea. Blackberries are renowned for their high nutritional contents of dietary fibre, vitamin C, vitamin K and the essential mineral manganese. The root contains saponins and tannins, whereas the leaf contains fruit acid, flavonoids and tannins.

Blackberry plants are useful in the treatment of cancer, dysentery, diarrhoea, whooping cough, colitis, toothache, anemia, psoriasis, sore throat, mouth ulcers, as a mouthwash, for haemorrhoids, gingivitis and minor bleeding.

Serving Suggestions

For a mellow cup of tea: 1 teaspoon of tea leaves per cup. Add 200ml of boiling water and steep for 10 minutes. For a deeper flavour cup fo tea: Boil 200ml water in a pan, add 1 teaspoon of tea leaves, cover and simmer for 2 minutes. Steep for 15 minutes.

Shipping Information

Our packages are delivered by Australia Post, Australia Wide (excluding Ashmore and Cartier Islands, Australian Antarctic Territory, Christmas Island, Cocos (Keeling) Islands, Coral Sea Islands, Heard and McDonald Islands and Norfolk Island).

You have the option of allowing your package to be left in a safe place if nobody is home to sign for it, or to have your package taken to your local post office for collection.
